    hi chala

    if you comes to me with plantar fascitis.i will be doing a detailed assessment.it includes
    your general posture
    posture related to foot
    how you are weight bearing-any deviations
    assessment of your walking
    arches of foot-weight bearing and non-weight bearing
    any muscle tightness in lower lims-ta,hams,quads,TFL
    any strength deficits
    mobility of the joints of lower limbs

    without all these i won't be able to suggest a effective treatment.i suggest you to consult a physio specialised in musculoskeltal conditions

    Linbin, what is the equivelent of a Physio in America? I think it is called a Physical Therapist, is that right?

    I have to be referred to one by my doctor I think. How many times a week is Physio for someone with Plantar Faciitis?

    Chala -
    The frequency of your treatment session will be dependent upon the findings at your initial physical therapy evaluation, but I think you can probably expect to be seen around twice a week.
