HI
Can you specify where is your ache what do you mean by saying hip bone, please?
take care
Hi, I play cricket as a bowler ( right arm bowler ) and recently experienced a slight pain in my hip when bowling. I have not bowled now for two weeks, and the pain is still there. It pain only occurs when I bend to the left, and the location of this is just on my hip bone. I have taken anti inflammatory's which have not had any effect. I am still able to run and walk, without any discomfort, and it does not cause any pain other than when i bend down to the left. Is there any exercises I can do that may assist in the recovery, or advice on what may be the problem??
Thanks

Hi, the pain is produced when I bend towards the pain
What effect if any does prolonged sitting or repeated bending have?
Hi,
None - pain is only produced when I bend towards the pain. It also does not hurt during the movement but more at the end of the range. As if something is crunching together to cause the pain
Hi,
I think, the pain could be eliminated through prescribed exercises on the affected area. Try this link below, who knows it might work on you...

It sounds like it's a 'rib dysfunction to me, I suggest you see a physio who has had M.E.T training on ribs.
you could try a stretch like the one listed in the following link.

see how that works out.
