Hi,

About 2.5 months ago, I fell on my wrist. I felt fine at the time, but a few days later, my wrist started hurting severely to the extent that I couldn't use it. I went to hospital and I had some X-rays done which proved it wasn't a fracture. I was then sent for a Wikipedia reference-linkMRI scan as they believed I had done some ligament damage. The MRI scan indicated partial tearing of several ligaments in my wrist, so I was told to keep my wrist in a splint for 6 weeks.

It has now been 6 weeks, and I've been told to take physio to strengthen my wrist and re-gain movement. However, my wrist still hurts. If I put any weight on it (such as using it get it up), it hurts alot. Small things such as rotating also causes some problems. I still use the brace for travelling and sleeping for ease and comfort. However, I was wondering whether this is how a wrist is meant to feel after being sprained?

I'm wondering whether my wrist is healed, or whether there is still some damage which hasn't fully recovered.

I'd appreciate any thoughts on this! Thanks.

Kit
