I am realy depressed and disappointed. my father is 69 year old last friday he had urine infectection and he was confused . I took him to the Aand E department and he did not recive the adequate care due to lack of bed and I transfared him to another hospital and on admission he was c/o renal failure dhydration as he was not eating or drinking , hypotention and decrease Sao2 to 60% > Then he transfared to ICU and he was stable at that time and he was able to speak at the moment he is in the ward and he still on the antibiotics but he is drowsy and unconsious , co2 is over 60 and he developed oedema in his hands and legs. he was on CPAP since two days but there is not improvement in co2 .

The doctors does not know why he is retaning CO2??

Could you plz give me any advice . I am scared and I do not know what to do ?
