Abdominal separation post-birth
Hello,
I had a baby 7 months ago, 1 month after delivery I started doing routine exercises and noticed a dome when doing crunches. I then learned about abdominal separation and put the exercises on hold, thinking that time will heal my separation. One month ago I wanted to start doing exercise again and noticed a separation of 2 fingers underneath the belly button. This diminishes as I go up and down along the abdominal recti from this area. I am very worried and I do not know what I can and cannot do, I dont want to make the condition worse.
I would be very grateful of any information that can help in making it better or avoiding worsening the problem.
