I think anyone who goes from fully active and painfree to very limited and painful would feel frustrated and concerned; my general advice is to listen to your healthcare team and push yourself to limits that you feel are safe and that are ok'd by them. It is statistically very important to get on the road to recovery as quickly as possible as the longer people spend off work from injury, the less likely they are of returning (can't find reference at the moment); find coping techniques for pain to allow you to progress your rehab; make short term, achievable, highly desirable goals for yourself; draw strength and encouragement from people you respect; good luck!
