Where to study physio in UK?!?!!!!

Im 29 and going into my second year at Herts. As a Uni it supports mature students, and about 10/15 % make up the cohort. I think generally most uni's like mature students, and offer alternative requirement entries, so take a look at each uni's breakdown of the course, some are more practical based, others more theory, so choosing will depend on your learning style. At Herts we do 2 placements in the 1st year (one is a shadow placement) , and three in the second......And of course go to the uni's and have a look round if you can

I am from malaysia and I am yet to decide
whether i should go to UK or going for Aus program to complete my top-uo degree.
with a foreign diploma cert, how do i apply to UK university?
of all i know is that getting to aussie uni is kind of difficult for us.
have you guys come across anyone in my situation?

hi everyone
im hoping to study physiotherapy at the Robert Gordons University in Aberdeen.
However, been told there is a shortage of jobs here in Scotland.
Does anyone know if this is true or not?

It seems to be factor across the British Isles. But you have to look at it this way, you'll be a student for 3/4 years and hopefully the employment situation will change. Also, they are crying out for physios in other countries so if you don't mind travelling you'll find a job somewhere!

Just to warn Larianne - 3 year degree graduates must do 1 years full time experience before being able to apply to NZ while those with 4 years dont. Rediculous I know.

Cheers for that! I've been trying to find out what the difference in the 3 and 4 year degree programmes. I still don't know. Both do the same amount of clinical hours.
