Dear Friend,

I would like to give you some tips on the antenatal and post natal physiotherapy which may help you as i believe.

During the antenatal time , you should try to do the valsalva manoevre. Try to hold your breathe after your normal inspiration or if possible a deep inspiration. Also take care of your back especially the lower lumbar region as it may go for hyper lordosis during carriage . Always sit with your propre back support. People used to neglect the back during this time.

In post natal , after one month you should strengthen your Transverse Abdominus muscle which may become slack after the pregnancy. Strengthening is very important as its the core stabilisation of the lumbar region.

Take a deep inspiration then take a deep expiration . remember that the tummy should go inside in your expiration , hold your tummy and leave your breathe. Try to keep for few seconds and increase the time duration as u go on. Its difficult for the first time , but easily it can be practised.
Please note that this procedures should be done only after a proper advice from your gynaecologists.
Thankyou very much for bearing with me , if you feel any difficulty in my reply please ignore it , thankyou again , all the best.
