I recently completed my evaluation with the FCCPT for the state of Michigan and they have deemed that my education is not substantially equivalent to the first professional degree in the US. My education was evaluated using the Cwt-5 I believe.
The reason they cite is that I am lacking approximately 11 Professional Education Credits (PT) of the 90 required. I have applied for the PLAN program as they suggested and am currently awaiting a reply from them.
Has anyone else lacking professional education credits gone through the PLAN program before? What type of advice do they offer you and is it very helpful.
I read the description of PLAN and it does say that it will suggest US schools where you may take courses you are missing. However most people applying for credentialing are obviously outside the US and cannot simply take a class in the US, do they provide online options. Thanks any advice is greatly appreciated.
