I think I have a similar injury. A few months ago I spent a day river rafting and then I woke up in my girlfriends tiny full size bed that night with severe left shoulder pain. The pain progressed to my left elbow and I also experienced peripheral neuropathy with tingling in my fingers. I would say it lasted about 3 weeks and then began to assuage. I have been taking it easy and the pain has gone away, but now I have terrible muscle atrophy in my left tricep. I try to exercise the muscle, but it is difficult to make my tricep contract, I have also noticed when doing tricep kickbacks I can not lock out my arm. My elbow remains bent, and I therefore do not engage the tricep, even with very light weight. Does anyone else have this problem? I also have noticed some problems with my left pec as well, but I am mostly worried about my left arm. I have access to a tens unit, does anyone have a suggestion on how to go about using the unit and at what setting and duration? Any help would be much appreciated, as this is not my area of expertise. Thanks in advance
