I'm also too far away to be able to help; however I would suggest going to see a physio (have a look on the physio directory here or Physio2U on the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy website).

I'd also suggest that you need to be stretching your shoulder several times a day. There are a variety of protocols you can use, but the one I use is via the Sarah Key Method - you'll find it in a book called Keep Your Joints Young (this is my bible as a physio and I use it with all my patients). If you have a good local yoga class, that would also be of benefit.

Bear in mind that tight, gummy shoulders such as those you get with Wikipedia reference-linkadhesive capsulitis don't much enjoy being stretched and they can be sore and achy as a result, but in the longer term it will get you better quicker.
