Yes, physios here do cover CardioRespiratory. It all depends on what type of institution you work in.
Big hospitals, usually hire respiratory therapists and physios, thus dividing the duties.... Where as other hospitals hire physios and assign them in various departments and accordingly either rotate them in between the various departments or leave them there.
So if you specialise in CardioRespiratory, you can very well get assigned to handle ICU and Ward patients or work in out patient as well as in patient, according to necessity.
