    Dubai

Hi can anyone give me information about Physiotherapy jobs in Dubai? I'm shifting there at some stage this year as my husband has a job lined up and friends there.
It seems all the hospitals are asking for 3 years post graduate experience, is there anyway around this? For registration only a minimum of a 2 year diploma and 1 years experience is required (correct me if I'm wrong). I am a New Zealander having completed a 4 year bachelors degree and currently have 13 months post graduate experience. I want to stay in a hospital setting so any advise would be much appreciated.
Can anyone give me a guide of physiotherapy salaries in Dubai? Also is there much scope for cardiorespiratory physio's there?
    Thanks.

Advertise your physiotherapy job on Physiobob's Job
    Hi Friends,
I am an Indian and have been in Dubai for a year after marriage.Currently i am studying the last module towards completion of Masters in neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy from UK. I am soon planning to register for the DOHMS interview and MOH exams.

Can you tell me what are these exams like? Who takes the DOHMS interviews for physiotherapists and what do they focus on? Is the part 2 of MOH a practical exam, a patient case evaluation etc? What reading material should be reffered?

I have been looking for medical book stores in Dubai to buy some physiotherapy books but havent been successful in finding one. Can anyone guide me please?

    Thanks.

as long as working as Cardio respiratory in the hospitals under MOH you can work but in dubai govt sectors this is done by Respiratory therapist

If you need any futher information you can write to me..

    Re: Dubai

    Hi,
I am a CDn Physio, practicing musculoskeletaly for 5 years now. My husband will be going to Dubai for 6-9 months and I am hoping to go with him too. Does anyone know what papers I need to bring with me to Dubai to ensure that I can be licensed to work there? My plan is to go there first and then look for a locum job at a private clinic. Does anyone know what the salary is for a Cdn female physio (oh and I am asian too). Thanks so much.

most of the positions similar to this one requires 1-2 years of experience my aunt practiced two years before she applied as a nurse in dubai.

    Re: Dubai

Advertise your physiotherapy job on Physiobob's Job
    Hi there!

I am a Canadian Physiotherapy Resident looking to work in Dubai. I am trying to apply for the computer-based DHA exam via Promtetrics (the company that offers the exam), however they require an "Eligibility ID" to register.

Dubai's Health Regulation Department (HRD) Website says: "HRD will allocate Eligibility ID to the applicant after completing the credentialing and PSV process; The Eligibility ID will be required to complete the Prometric online schedule process.

...Credentialing and PSV in this context are defined as:

Credentialing: is the process of reviewing the credentials of health professional meeting a set of educational or occupational criteria and
therefore being licensed in their field.

Primary Source Verification (PSV): is the act of obtaining the Healthcare applicant's credentials (verification of the documents) directly
from the original or primary source.

I was wondering how I can complete both the Credentialing and PSV components so I can receive the Eligibility ID?

    Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

    Sincerely,

    Kate
