Hi Liam,
Thankyou for the really useful advice. How are you finding working out there?
I qualified last year and by this september i will have my 1st years experience completed. I have so far worked 6 months in MSK and 6 months as a locum in the community. I am planning to come out to australia in march and would love to be able to keep my skills up along the way. Do you think there would be any chance of me getting limited reg to be able to work over there? I already have a WHV sorted.
Hilary and Claire have you had any further luck with your applications?
Thanks again
sarah
Work out here is really good.
Depends what you want to do I suppose. Im a city boy, so iv gone for the city option, living and working in Melbourne at the moment.
It's well paid over here! And the support is great. Lots of learning opportunities.
Youl be able to get limited registration yes, but it will take some time to process. So fill in all the forms as soon as your able, get it sent off, then look at getting in touch with people about work and if someone can be your 'supervisor' etc...........Wont be a problem in finding the work, youv just gota be organised :-)
Life is sooooooo good out here. Come Join!!!
Beats the UK NHS to the ground!!
:-)
Brilliant will get onto that asap! Cant wait now! thankyou

Hi ljrobbob,
I am an Irish citizen due to graduate with a physiotherapy degree from the UK in June. I am hoping to go to Austrailia, Melbourne in particular through the limited registration application process. I have started my application but was wondering if you had information on how I would go about getting a job which allows me to have a supervsior/sponsor?
I would be very grateful for any information on this.
Kind regards,
Joyce
